The island republic of Haiti was hit by a 7.2 magnitude earthquake on 14 August 2021. Almost 2,000 people are known to have been killed and many more wounded.
The 2010 Haiti earthquake was said to have created an extra 150,000 orphans in one day. We fundraised for orphaned children then, and since that time have built further relationships with great people who care for children in Haiti – the poorest country in the region.
We are in a position to once again reach out to help Haiti in a time of tragedy.
