Called a bequest, it is a gift made through your Will
All bequests make a significant difference to the long-term work of Orphans Aid International, to rescue the abandoned. Your gift will carry on caring for future generations well beyond your lifetime.
There are many ways you can tailor a bequest to suit your personal circumstances. It is important to discuss options and specific wording with your legal advisor to make sure your Will reflects your wishes clearly. Your wishes may even include non-cash items (eg. we have in the past received valuable art and interesting collections).

A bequest to Orphans Aid was made by Joy Smith (1924-2015). Joy was known and loved by many for her years of dedicated missionary service to India, particularly in the state of Tripura.
Joy was an avid supporter of the work of Orphans Aid with a keen interest in India, Russia and other places. She told us she was blessed by having the opportunity to support these children from other countries. Joy would often phone our office to encourage us in our work and to cheer us on.
We would like to honour Joy for her wonderful example and generosity towards our work.
